She continues to astound us with her development. She is now standing as much or more than she is sitting, and she loves to use the boxes we've set up in the living room to contain her as a table while she munches on her toasted goodies. She is also much more vocal and loves to say "Ma-ma-ma" and "Da-Da-Da". She doesn't know why we like to hear her say that, but she will say it in response to us talking to her. We are still waiting for her teeth to come in, and she chews on almost everything in sight, but we have yet to see any sight of them working their way through her gums.
She has also begun taking "big girl baths" as she got a little too wiggly to use the baby bath chair. She loves playing with her rubber duckies and seems to enjoy bathtime much more now that she can move around at will. After a few close calls with her slipping and sliding around the bath tub we went out and purchased a non-skid mat for in the bathtub. Hopefully that will help mom and dad's heartrate next time she jolts out after a runaway duckling.
