Kiley's First...

... Baseball game! Kiley got to attend her first professional baseball game a couple of weeks ago. She seemed to enjoy herself, although she didn't fully appreciate the nuances of the game. She didn't find much entertainment in the interplay between the pitcher and the batter, nor did she appreciate the small changes in the fielding made by the bench coach, but she did like crawling around on the grass. I suppose there is time for the other things in the future.
It was also my nephew Travis' first professional baseball game. I think his favorite thing was the italian ice and getting autographs. Here is a picture of us enjoying the sun and italian ice.

... Steps!!! Yep Kiley took her first independent steps yesterday evening. She did it earlier in the day for Chris (or at least that is what he says). So when I got home from work we tried to recreate the moment. The only way we could get her to do it was by bribing her with the Wii remote. The video shows her taking her first steps. Mind you they aren't many so don't blink.
