Kiley is ONE!

So I cannot believe how quickly the last year has gone by, but our little girl is a year old now. We had a birthday cake with some of Chris' friends and then we spent Sunday and Monday in Price with the Melo side of the family. We had cake with my cousins and their kids on Sunday and went swimming with Nicky and her family on Monday. Grab a snack because there are a lot of pictures to see. Some how she instinctively knew that it was her job to put her hand in the cake and play with it as we sang happy birthday.
Here is a family shot before we gave her a piece to eat.

This is her in the process of eating the cake. We even gave her a little ice cream which she kind of seemed indifferent to.

This is a close up of the aftermath. We avoided the huge mess by having a confetti cake and white icing. I am not sure how much of the cake actually made it in her mouth. Most of it was a crumbled mess on her bib and in her high chair seat.

Here are some pictures of her and her presents. She got a huge stuffed Monkey that we have approriately named Kong. She enjoys wrestling it and giving it tiger kisses. She also got a really cute shirt from her Grandma and Grandpa Porter, a stroller and doll crib from her cousins Travis and Shawn, a purple monkey and a book from Aunt Rochelle and Uncle Charlie, some really cute clothes from Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Angelo and their family, blocks and monkey pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa Melo, a cute hat from Aunt Syd, and a dress from Brent and his family.

Her stroller, which she really enjoys pushing around.

Tiger kisses with Kong as she is pulling him out of the gift bag.

Kiley with all of her presents. She was too busy playing with them to look at the camera. She is one lucky girl to have so many people who care about her. Thanks to everybody for all the wonderful gifts.
