Randall Reunion

The day after our return from Virgina we headed to the Randall Reunion. It was the big one that occurs every three years for my Grandpa and his siblings' decendents. They have it in the Blue Mountains between Blanding and Monticello. There is always lots of good food and fun activities. While at the reunion we learned that Kiley apparently enjoys eating oranges. She claims she was eating them "like a beaver".

One of our favorite activities is a zip line. Getting up to the platform and waiting up there for your turn is the worst part. In fact, I am basically terrified the whole time I am up there. Once you get going it is a blast. This pictures don't show a lot of detail, but you can get the general idea.

I was nervous about having Kiley on the zip line, but she LOVED it. She was giggling and laughing the whole way down!

One of the activities for the kids was a pinata. It was a lot of fun. Kiley enjoyed hitting it. You can also see two of my nephews. They are actually quite the pinata pros. When the little kids had a hard time breaking their pinata it was opened to people over the age of 80. It was really fun to see my Great Aunts and Uncles taking swings at the pinatas. I think that was just as fun as watching the little kids take turns.

All in all it was a great weekend of fun and family. It was the perfect end to an idyllic summer vacation.
